Darren Reader is the owner of Shortcuts. He previously worked in Eastbourne and Lewes and is a golf fanatic who plays whatever the weather, often with his dog teddy in tow!

Other interests include football (a West Ham and Liverpool fan), sports cars, music, podcasts, holidays and general keep fit. He has 2 grown up children and now 2 grandchildren. Darren has lived in Seaford since the age of 7 and still has many friends from his school days.

John Barnard has worked here for 20 years and was previously a barber in Uckfield, Brighton & Hove. 

Interests are loving Man Utd (and typically hating Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City!), walking to Brighton along the seafront and holidays in the sunshine. John is very experienced in all aspects of barbering and is our expert at flat top cuts.
